07/04/2022 leaders of the “L&P” criminal law practice Alexander Linnikov and Tatiana Tsepkina spoke ant the session of the round table on issues of legal discipline of organisation of medical assistance to persons held in custody and serving sentences in penitentiary institutions, arranged by the Office of the Public Commissioner for the Protection of Rights of Entrepreneurs under the President of Russia.

It became known that clause 2 of art. 201 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, "Abuse of Power", will be amended by a new provision establishing liability for "actions taken in order to enforce decisions of foreign states to introduce restrictive measures against Russia." The bill provides for a wide range of punishments for enforcement of foreign sanctions in Russia, up to 10 years imprisonment with a complimentary ling-term restriction on occupying certain positions.

On 01/04/2022 the State Duma Committee on Natural Resources and Property has supported a bill banning circulation and new offerings of shares of Russian companies abroad.

On 31/03/2022 the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia proposed to ban contracts linked to foreign currency or world commodity indices in Russia.
