LEGAL AND ECONOMIC FOUNDATIONS OF THE FINANCIAL SYSTEM OF THE EUROPEAN UNION

New book by Alexander Linnikov and Leonid Karpov Legal and Economic Foundations of the Financial System of the European Union was recently released. While working on the book, the well-established research team was complimented by Evgeny Pazyna, Ph.D., associate professor of the Saratov State Law Academy.

It is the first textbook in Russian, entirely devoted to monetary integration of the European Union. The publication summarizes main features and peculiarities of the formation of single European currency and monetary union, the problems and challenges faced by the so-called Eurozone, as well as the prospects for the development of the euro area. The book examines and analyzes the most acute problems identified by the authors, which became particularly relevant in the period of the European crisis.
