On 10/10/2022 attorneys Alexander Linnikov, Tatiana Tsepkina and Alexei Sereda made a statement to the Advocates Gazette – the official media of the Federal Chamber of Attorneys of Russia. In the article entitled Attorney Privilege Unveiled? The funder of L&P and his colleagues speak about the current state of one of the key institutes of the legal system – attorney-client privilege, as well as analyze disturbing tendencies and dangers of commonplace disregard of attorney-client privilege on the part of law enforcement agencies and courts for society, citizens and the business community. The article is based on the deep analysis of recent jurisprudence that allows unlawful access of insolvency administrators to documents and information protected by the attorney-client privilege.
