15/05/2025, Tatiana Tsepkina attended a meeting of the Expert council under the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights in Moscow.
The regular meeting of the Council was attended by residents of the Ecosystem of the Business Ombudsman, leaders of leading business associations and industry associations of entrepreneurs of the capital, lawyers, representatives of public organizations, officials of relevant departments of the Moscow Government and deputies of the Moscow City Duma.
Opening the meeting, the Business Ombudsman of the capital, Tatiana Sizova, noted the effectiveness of the Council, which addresses systemic problems in the field of entrepreneurship from business communities. Joint discussion with representatives of government authorities of expert proposals on improving regulatory regulation makes it possible to solve problems of an industry nature and reduce the administrative burden on businesses.
The participants discussed the application of amendments to the law on mandatory civil liability insurance for taxi carriers, the creation of conditions for illegal workers in the beauty industry to leave the shadows, as well as changes in hygiene requirements for persons in pre-trial detention facilities. The issue of a sharp increase in the trade fee in 2025 caused a heated discussion among the meeting participants. Business representatives note that the introduced procedure for calculating the trade fee using the deflator coefficient increases the financial burden and costs for SMEs, which leads to business closure, and therefore it is necessary to review the current procedure for calculating the trade fee.
