BUSINESS BREAKFAST WITH MOSCOW BUSINESS OMBUDSMAN

01/07/2025 Alexander Linnikov and Tatiana Tsepkina visited the Investment Council under the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights in the City of Moscow “Investment Policy in the Current Realities – New Investment Mechanisms”. The meeting was held in the format of a business breakfast, which was attended by the leaders of public institutions of the Commissioner’s Ecosystem, representatives of business associations, State Duma deputies, Pro Bono experts, representatives of public organizations, journalists and editors of leading media.

 

The business ombudsman of the capital, Tatyana Sizova, addressed a welcoming speech to the participants and guests, noting the warm atmosphere of the event, which corresponds to the favorable investment climate in Moscow. “Moscow has once again become the leader in Russia in terms of the investment climate, and this is the result of systematic work to build a dialogue between the government and business,” said Tatyana Sizova.

 

Alexander Linnikov gave a speech about the work of the Center for Legal Support of International Entrepreneurship, which he heads as the Chairman of the Center. “Today, our work is based on the principle of ‘doing the opposite’: the Center has become a tool for supporting and advising Russian entrepreneurs abroad who have found themselves in the midst of severe international economic sanctions. The challenges faced by businesses due to the Ukrainian conflict remain unchanged. As for the current situation, due to the expansion of Russian business presence in friendly countries, we have received requests from Russian private investors who are facing difficulties due to the specific legal regulations in Russia and these countries. The Center, as a public institution of the Commissioner’s Ecosystem, is open to providing legal support to both foreign and Russian investors,” said Alexander Linnikov.
