05/03/2026 Leonid Karpov and Tatiana Tsepkina attended an introductory meeting of the BRICS+ Entrepreneurship Development Council under the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights in Moscow, which was attended by representatives of the Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations of the Moscow Government, public figures, representatives of the Russian and international business communities.

The meeting was chaired by Moscow’s Business Ombudsman, Tatiana Sizova, at which the participants identified the goals and objectives of the Council as one of the institutions of the Ecosystem for the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs in the capital. In her speech, Tatiana Sizova noted that today a number of specially created public institutions operate under the Commissioner: from the Center for Legal Support of International Entrepreneurship under the leadership of Alexander Linnikov to Public Representatives of the Commissioner in six countries around the world.

The long-term practice of L&P lawyers in the field of international trade and finance allows us to assert that the successful realization of the economic potential of the BRICS+ member countries is possible only with the formation of international legal institutions based on generally recognized norms of private international law. When discussing and developing legislative initiatives, we are ready to share our experience and foreign professional resources with the Council members,” said lawyer Leonid Karpov.

L&P lawyers are actively involved in the international agenda of the Commissioner as Pro bono experts of the Center for Legal Support of International Entrepreneurship. I am sure that the Council, which includes representatives of the business circles of a number of countries of the alliance, will become a platform for the exchange of experience and identification of problematic issues in the development of investment relations between the BRICS+ countries,” says Tatiana Tsepkina, Co-Chair of the Center for Legal Support of International Entrepreneurship.
