“It is worth remembering that the strategic reserves of European states are already at critically low levels, so the release and direction to the market of such volumes of oil and fuel will likely undermine the reserves needed to survive the impending winter season, as well as to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of the transportation system,” noted Alexander Linnikov.
