19/02/2026, Tatiana Tsepkina took part in a business breakfast at the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights in Moscow on the topic “Mediation in a dialogue between business and government.” The meeting was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere, which was attended by leaders of public institutions of the Commissioner’s Ecosystem, representatives of the Moscow Government, Pro Bono experts, representatives of business associations and public organizations, and journalists from leading media outlets.

The Business Ombudsman of the capital, Tatiana Sizova, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. She noted the important role of mediation and the prospects for the use of mediation procedures between business and government authorities. The participants, including professional mediators, shared their experience in implementing mediation procedures in settling disputes with government agencies, and noted the importance of government support and initiatives from the legal community.

In general, the mediation procedure is rarely used, although there is experience of its successful application. As a professional mediator, I believe that mediation has a number of advantages over litigation: mediation not only saves time and resources, but also allows you to maintain business and personal relationships between the parties to the dispute,” comments Tatiana Tsepkina.
