Congratulations to fellow Citizens and all the friends of our Motherland on the Day of Russia! Our national holiday is celebrated on 12 of June — the day of adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic in 1990. As a result of the elections of the President of the RSFSR held on the same day in 1991, Boris Yeltsin became the first leader of the New Russia.
