MEETING OF THE CENTER FOR PUBLIC PROCEDURES “BUSINESS PROTECTION”

13/02/2026, Tatiana Tsepkina took part in the work of the Public Council of the Business Protection Center under the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights in Moscow, which considered appeals from entrepreneurs regarding illegal criminal prosecution.

 

The meeting of the Council was attended by the Business Ombudsman of the capital Tatiana Sizova, the President of the Moscow Bar Association Sergey Zubkov, as well as reputable lawyers and lawyers, experts. Welcoming his colleagues, Sergey Zubkov expressed gratitude to the members of the Council for identifying and solving systemic problems when considering appeals from entrepreneurs at the Commissioner’s site.

 

During the meeting, the appeals of entrepreneurs were considered and their representatives were heard about the illegality of detention while carrying out their business activities, as well as the unjustified seizure of the company’s property and accounts, leading to the disruption of the economic activities of a stable enterprise. As a result of the discussions, decisions were made to send the materials to the relevant authorities for responding to them.

 

“Unfortunately, cases when investigators, for no reason, use procedural coercion measures in the form of arresting accounts of a company that is not involved in a criminal case, but for some reason known only to the investigator, is attributed to “other persons” are not uncommon. The restrictions imposed actually lead to a complete blockage of the company’s activities. At the same time, the organization must fulfill its obligations to contractors, employees, and the budget on a monthly basis. Sending letters to the authorities through the Commissioner about resolving the current situation allows us to speed up the lifting of restrictions and save business,” says Tatiana Tsepkina.
