MOSCOW BUSINESS OMBUDSMAN CONFERENCE

23/05/2025 Alexander Linnikov and Tatiana Tsepkina attended the conference “Interaction between Business and Government. New landmarks”. The event took place on the eve of the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship and was organized by Tatyana Sizova, Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights in Moscow.

 

Leaders of business associations, business and industry associations of entrepreneurs of the capital, representatives of the Moscow Government, deputies of the State Duma and the Moscow City Duma, as well as participants in the Commissioner’s Ecosystem gathered at the VEB Center.

 

Opening the conference, Tatiana Sizova noted that according to the results of the completed national project “Small and Medium-sized Enterprises”, the number of employees in the SME sector exceeded the target, and the share of small and medium-sized businesses in the economy amounted to 21.7%, which is a very high result. The ecosystem for the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs in Moscow, bringing together more than 1,500 professionals and experts on entrepreneurship, certainly contributes to the creation of a favorable business climate in the capital.

 

Boris Titov, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Relations with International Organizations, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. According to him, the Commissioner’s institute in Moscow is not only a business protection institution, but also an institution for uniting businesses into communities, where entrepreneurs develop further strategies for developing their businesses, which contributes to the development of the industry as a whole.

 

The Conference featured practical business development tools for medium and small enterprises, presentations of measures to support entrepreneurs and successful practices for growth.
