Sofia Usach graduated magna cum laude from the Law Faculty of the State University of Land Use Planning and joined the LINNIKOV & PARTNERS team in 2026 as a legal counsel and an attorney-in-training.
Sofia’s degree is in criminal law, which makes her a valuable asset to several working groups of the Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Practice lead by seasoned criminal defense lawyers. She is deeply involved in ongoing trials and current work with various government agencies. Her ability to connect with people, responsiveness, sincerity, hard work, and outstanding professional communication skills enable her to succeed in all cases.
Sofia concentrates on civil cases and land and property disputes as an area of primary professional expertise, which stems from the specifics of her university education. She also excels in bankruptcy cases and drafts legal documents for other practice groups of the firm.
Sofia is actively involved in academic research. She is the author of several articles on matters of law in Russian and international journals.
In her free time, Sofia combines sports with intellectual self-development. She enjoys reading classic and contemporary literature, travels throughout Russia and the world, discovers new interesting places in the City of Moscow, and explores national cuisines of various cultures. Sofia also develops her creative potentials She paints on traditional canvas and experiments with digital art.
