On 04/08/2023, the founder of L&P appeared on the economic news program of «MOSCOW-24» channel with a commentary on a new opportunity for Russian citizens – the use of virtual cards from the Turkish payment system Troy through the Letim App. This allows Russian tourists to pay for goods, services, and withdraw cash in Turkey using a QR code. The main appeal of the system lies in its simplicity of use and the ability to top up the card through the Quick Payment System for amounts up to 250,000 liras per month. However, there is volatility in the Turkish lira and high transaction fees, which requires caution when using this payment system. Despite this, Letim promises to expand its capabilities, such as online operations and contactless payment through NFC with a smartphone. It is worth noting that obtaining a physical Troy card is not possible, and customers are only provided access to the electronic wallet within the App.
