21.04.2022 Sergey Kloss, Chief Financial Analyst of L&P, attended a round table meeting on the formation of a regulatory framework for the turnover of cryptocurrencies in Russia to ensure settlements with foreign counterparties under sanctions. The discussion, organized by the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in Moscow, was attended by representatives of the business community of the capital, experts in the field of crypto economics, blockchain and law. The discussion focused on the issues of settlements with foreign counterparties in conditions of increased risks of payments in foreign currencies and the formation of a regulatory framework for the turnover of cryptocurrencies in the Russian Federation.

Following the results of the round table, Sergey Kloss noted: “The problem of regulatory regulation of the turnover of cryptocurrencies in Russia is not new, however, in the conditions of the modern “sanctions war”, a forced solution to this issue can significantly facilitate the work of Russian business in the international arena. It is no secret that the team of experts of Linnikov and Partners is among the “cryptosceptic” and does not welcome the turnover of cryptocurrencies in Russia and their use as an investment asset and a means of saving, however, we allow the use of digital currencies for settlements under foreign trade contracts under the conditions of sanctions pressure on Russia”.
