On 07/18/2023, the founder of L&P made a comment for Kommersant, in which he explained the contradictions between the current Russian legislation on banks and banking activities and the draft laws on the so-called "Islamic banking" adopted by the Russian parliament in the 2nd reading on the experiment on implementation in four regions of Russia (Bashkiria, Dagestan, Tatarstan and Chechnya) of partner financing ("Islamic banking") on 18/07/2023.

12/07/2023 Tatiana Tsepkina shared with the readers of AG her view on the bankruptcy case of an individual in which the creditor bank did not agree with the termination of the proceedings, considering that the debtor's obligation was not repaid in full and challenged the ruling of the court of first instance.

The L&P sanctions team scored standout success in two cases related to the protection of our clients’ lawful interests from ungrounded application of the EU Restrictive Measures in Austria last week.

On 13/06/2023 Alexander Linnikov attended the round table Impact of Sanctions on Entrepreneurs: Threats and New Opportunities, organized by the private entity Scientific and Expert Centre for Legal Protection.  The founder of L&P spoke about the most efficient legal protection strategies and methods in the context of international economic sanctions and shared several successful cases from the practice of the attorneys of LINNIKOV & PARTNERS and their foreign colleagues.
